Macpup is much lighter than elive , It will run on 256 mb ram and fly on 512mb ram. Works with both xorg or xvesa.

always better to have swap partition also 2 to 3 times ram size, typical 128 mb ram is enough then atleast sure for jwm.... thats the beauty of the puppy family os...
