RSS and accented characters

Prit,

I'm having problems with the RSS function. As far as I tested the script with english posts everything went ok, but now in spanish I guess accented characters are the cause.

In nicEdit's source code, accented chars are written as Á not &Aacute
I tried to change encoding in the rss function from ISO-8859-1 to UTF-8 but no luck.

Besides posts content, accented chars in the meta description also invalidate rss.

Hi John ...

When I looked at your RSS feeds, I could not see any entries at all. Any idea why? Can you register on my test blog http://hardkap.net/pritlog/0.8 and post an entry with these accented characters? This would help me to test easily.

Hi Prit,

I already fixed the issue replacing htmlentities() with htmlspecialchars() on 2 lines of code at the end of the rss function.

EDITED: maybe you couldn't see any entries because I was testing things just 2 minutes ago. Let me know if you can't see them now.

I think so. It seems to me that it would fix rrs error at least for spanish, french, portuguese, maybe even for german (i only tested with spanish)
