When iam going to rename the applications and i run the comand fixmenus.and i restart thw jwm that time its showing what i change the name whem iam going to reboot the machine that time display comes earlier shown means what changes the name and all not stored how i can cange permantly

Can you please make it more clear? How are you changing the menu entry? Which file are you editing?

actually iam editing the file name .jwmrc in that i change the name becuase i need for iam using puppy 4.0 in that we dont want the extra menus there are so many menus are there i want to remove that non usable menus but in that ,jwmrc iam going to remove i cant when iam renaming the menu its done. but after restarting the pc that becomes earlier type mainly i want to remove the menu how it is possible

Try to edit the /etc/xdg/templates/_root_.jwmrc as I had mentioned in an earlier post and let me know if that does not work.
