Pritlog Vs Wordpress

I compared my Wordpress vs Pritlog installations with the same number of posts and similar low profile themes. This wordpress installation does not have many plugins enabled.

The average load time was:
Wordpress: 1.7 seconds
Pritlog : 0.7 seconds

Maybe the advantage that is in favor of Pritlog is the simple 1 file script, no MySQL, no theme/plugin engine etc. But this was impressive to me. I think, I will just shut down my wordpress installation completely.

Good riddance! I'm actually surprised you would use wordpress over your own script O_o

I have been using Wordpress for quiet sometime. When I started Pritlog, I still kept the wordpress one, but copied all posts over to Pritlog. I wanted to have Wordpress by the site for comparisons and for checking out the various new features they use.
