Prit,
Besides any performance tweaking left, its my overall impression that Pritlog SQLite is a success. Congratulations !
As you said when you released Alpha1, most pieces are in place, and in my opinion they work pretty well. I think you could proudly raise it to a Beta status unless you are planning to introduce some significant changes.
Its also my impression that due the code flow , achieving a complete separation between logic and presentation html would require a major rework, and at least in my case I don't expect to make use of such a template system, just want to tweak Pritlog's appearance the way I like and leave it there.
From a features perspective, Pritlog already offers -in its current state- most of the capabilities I would expect from a blogging script whose initial objective was to remain SIMPLE.
We could certainly discuss endless variations, but many of them would be a matter of personal needs or taste (like my preference to use fixed categories)
Prit, I'm very happy with Pritlog SQlite and plan to use it in a couple of live sites within the next 1-2 weeks; so I already started to modify a couple of functions to suit my own needs as I feel confident enough to handle most issues that might come across.
The 3 questions I have for you at this point:
1. what major changes -if any- do you plan to introduce before Pritlog gets to v1.0 ?
2. are you going to develop a template system or keep with the current logic flow ?
3. any other technical concerns you are aware and willing to share with your fans :) ?
I realy appreciate your openess to interact with all of us and keep listening (sorry for drilling your brain with endless posts, I promisse to keep more quiet from now :)
