Just some words (and help) about Macpup 412 (alguien habla español?)

I have some questions and some words to say about your project... I dont speak english so its a lit bit hard to write this (or those???) words so Im going to doit all together:

First of all THANX! incredible work Its really beautiful and very useful.

Second I have some problems (like in the window$ time) when I make some things like clicking a second windows when Im working in another app its freeze all the app and I must restart X... It happens me once or twice a day (I have a Compaq F500 laptop)and it works really good with puppy 412, but have some problems with Macpuppy.

Third some questions: I want to know if I can put the wbar in the top of the desktop, can I change the left apples to the right?, may I uninstall firefox (I think Seamonkey its better for me) and the last question, how can I put in the tray some battery power monitor (I install the asapm package, but I think dont work)

Well thats all thank you very much, and sorry for the bad english but I do my best for this post... and please if you answer me do it in simple english like tarzan please lol

Thanks for the good feedback.

I am not sure what might be causing the window freezing. Are there any specific application that you are running when this happens?

Here are the answers:
1 - Yes you can put wbar on the top. But then it will overlap the taskbar, unless you move that to the bottom. Wbar runs from /root/.xinitrc. This is a hidden file. Go to /root in Rox and press Control-H to view all files. Now you should see /root/.xinitrc. Edit this and look for "wbar". You can change pos bottom to pos top if you want to move the bar to the top

2 - Do you want to move the left apples on the windows to the right? If so, go to themes selection from the menu and select the alternate theme.

3 - To uninstall Firefox, you can go to Puppy package manager and uninstall it from there. Now, edit /usr/local/bin/defaultbrowser and change "firefox" to "seamonkey".

4 - Regarding adding an applet to the bar, it would be best to ask "Ttuuxxx" on the main Puppy forum - http://murga-linux.com/puppy

Thaaanks, its everything fine. But only one thing dont work I move the taskbar to the bottom and the wbar to the top, but when I restart the system the wbar still in the top of the desktop but the taskbar returns to the top... Shall I edit some file as the .xinitrc for the taskbar?

How did you move the taskbar to the bottom? Did you just drag it?

Try editing /root/.icewm/preferences file and comment out the "TaskbarAtTop=1" using "#".
