Is there a desktop calendar application for E-17, that could be added to the shelf? Where can it be found and where is it placed in order to make it work properly? Happy holidays!

MemberThanks runtt21. I'm afraid that I may not understand your instructions.
Downloaded the file and placed into user/share/local/bin. Then selected an icon for the app and added it to the Ibar. When I select it from the desktop Ibar a message appears telling me Enlight'mt could not open. Perhaps I need to set the run action - which I'm not sure how to do.
I found your previous post, and it is more like what I am after - a simple desktop icon which shows the current date/month.

ModeratorMove the .edj file for the icon to /root/icons then pick one of the apps you already have on the ibar. right click on its icon then select changed icon properties,then in the desktop entry editor that opens click on the square on the left side,.In the next window called "select an icon" go to the icon folder select the icon ,then click ok , Then in the desktop editor press apply .

MemberThanks again runtt21. It took my 64 year old brain a little while to figure out just exactly what this little "animated" icon was supposed to do. Any way it is now working perfectly in the Ibar replacing the icon for Osmo, which for me, clicking the new icon brings up a program I use daily.
By the way, this version of Puppy with it's updated look and feel is really terrific - thanks for the effort and all of the work that is involved!
