If it runs fine from the disc ,I would suggest not doing a install. Reformat the HD but when you run the disc use a pup-save file and also copy the pup-412.sfs to the hd.Use the disc to boot the computer , you can take the disc out as soon as the Desktop loads. It worked perfectly when it was booted from CD, but when it boots from the hard drive it somehow can't start Xwindows properly, and never gets any farther than the X-shaped mouse pointer before dropping back to the command line. I've tried xorgwizard with different color depths, 16 and 24, and the "test" option _always_ works. M.P. Dingo got installed perfectly and seems to run fast and clear, I still didn´t try to browse the internet because I need first to test music and video playing. After surfing the web for several days looking for a solution for the OS to recognize the soundcard I finnally did it and now I can hear audio perfectly but... a simple mp3 song jams and sound appears and desappears all time just like if the computer could't manage the file. I know the PC is powerful enough to play music and video because it did it running windows xp so, what's the problem? I can't play audio files correctly and not even open a video file (videos open for less than a second and then close) Could you please help me? Thank you<br /> Luis </p>
