Thanks runntt, I forgot to ask about if I can use the rest of the space in some chapter or something like that, but you already answered, thanks again.

And yes, when I put it of 2GB now it need more time for the boot, so with 50GB can need like a half hour LOL. Well, but with 2GB it boots ok ;)

2 Gb is plenty of space. Keep your savefile for your system stuff, Apps, things like that. Keep your photos, music , videos, and projects stuff outside the save file.If you only have one partition on the drive where the savefile is you can access all of your stuff in /mnt/home . The thing is the bigger the save file the longer it takes to load up and shutdown. I know people who have had save files 16 Gb or more and they need several minutes to boot.

Hi there, well, I'm a bit newbie in Macpup, I only used one Puppy Linux distribution some years ago, but the I took the decision to change from Ubuntu to Macpup, specially 'cause it's faster, lighter and more gorgeous.

So I made a Frugal install (I got some problems with Full), and made a savefile, but I only give to it some MB, and when I tried to install GIMP it said that I need more space, so I resized it to 2GB, but now I think that I probably need more space. So, is there a way that I can give to my savefile more space (Is the only savefile on the Netbook), for example, to 40 or 50 GB (The Netbook has 55GB).
I need to do a Full install?

I am working in a development program in Ethiopia and look for Puppy experts who can help me to compose a beautiful Macpup version for eLearning purposes. I am working closely with a hardware developer who will help us to bring an assembly line for netbooks to the country. We would like to use Macpup since it is light weight and can run on limited hardware resources. This would allow us to offer a real alternative to a more expensive netbook with WIN XP on it.

Anybody around who would like to do this as development job to help Ethiopian students to get free learning materials?

Thanks in advance! CFM
