Thanks for publishing this! I have done a small amount of PHP and WP on my way to building marketing tools for my clients. Basically, I am a tool builder and not a programmer. Over the weekend I have strategized and built a 'blog ring' using Google's Blogger, which is simply a single-user login (google login) as admin, then the first blog that has one post holding 20 organized links. These links point to other blogs on the same server that are to be used by admin-logins only. Those 'child' blogs each have one link back to the ring master blog. One key feature is the login-once, edit many posts & blog pages. Is there a way to keep the session $var between blog *sites* on the same server? The Blogger setup is for proof-of-concept and is now obsolete. Pritlog seems almost ideal for my needs -- small, light, easy to embed vid.audio.images. In this case, SEO is not a factor, but soon it will be critical in my next blog creations. -- The reason for this structure is to allow my client to post info, details, ideas, and instructions for his online business, and for me to do the organization of all that for him. What you need to understand is that each blog is a topic for his business, such as "csExpenses", "csCalendar", "csPrintMaterial", "csVideosToUse", "csInterviewsToDo", and so on. Now we can post info, audio, video, images.. then have it searchable, and I can move it to my clients web site easily. There are several advantages to building this system for clients who are not computer savvy. But okay i'm not the winner. What i'm trying to say is, pritlog still lacking in terms of SEO. One weakness is invalidated template (i use readable). So, it would be great if you can validate the template, for SEO reason. :) Next, i planned to monetize my pritlog blog with adsense. Let's see if pritlog not get banned in google search engine. There is UTF-8 version here - pritlog.ru/downloads/pritlog/0.81/Pritlog-081-ru.zip . But it's outdated, and since there are many changes in 0.821, I've tried to make it support UTF-8 (the file - rghost.net/3684190), but stucked at tags and categories creation. We'll glad to have Pritlog with native UTF-8, to support foreign languages, so we can help you to develop plugins and themes. Just a reminder, SQLITE has a native UTF-8 support, so it's one problem less. Okay, there is some problem when i use Pritlog ; 1. Comments not appeared - Me or my visitor cannot add comment 2. Failed to edit content - I can't edit my existing content, it just shows a neverending-loading bar when i press save button. 3. Better page Navigation - I use static post (set to 1 post), when I added some content above 5 or 6, it is navigated as dot only without shows the total of page. It makes my visitor cannot determine how many posts that I have. 4. Better captcha - yup, everyone hate spammers. If you add better captcha system it should be great. 5. Ability to edit Widgets - I want to remove some widget, but i don't know how. 6. Sometime, I cannot access my Pritlog site and shows URL not found. Recently, I started looking into moving Pritlog into a proper version control system for easier development and sharing. Pritlog was already on Google code (SVN), then I tried Git (on private VM, Github and Gitorious). After my experiments with Git which I was very satisfied with, I came across couple of other version control systems - <a href="http://fossil-scm.org">Fossil</a>, <a href="http://www.monotone.ca/">Monotone</a>. I tested both these and am currently considering using Fossil. You can read all about this scm at <a href="http://fossil-scm.org" rel="nofollow">http://fossil-scm.org</a> Its an amazing software. It is under 1 MB, is self contained and includes a wiki, bug tracking system and a web server. Its very easy to install a fossil repository on a shared hosting. Setting up Git or other SCM's on a shared hosting can be difficult and in some cases impossible. Its from the creator of SQLite. So now, Pritlog is officially on Fossil. The first link listed in the feed (link to the blog home page) ends with a period, causing the link to not work (404 error). The link looks like "http://www.yoursite.com/blog/index." and at least with my setup returns a 404 error when visited.
